Tips and tricks for the perfect modern wedding

With vintage having played a big role in weddings gone by, brides are beginning to embrace something a little different. Modern couples are not only looking to create a day that reflects their lives and loves, they’re also looking to throw in some of the newest wedding trends. With this in mind, we thought we’d give you a run down of some of the hottest modern wedding trends in 2015 – be warned, they’re a little different to tradition!

Ditching the first dance

Couples who’re not keen on getting up and dancing in front of all their guests are ditching the first dance in favour of a first bounce – on a trampoline – or wedding dance, where all their guests get up and dance to celebrate their marriage.

Today’s weddings aren’t just about soft vintage shades and colour palettes; they’re about creativity and design. Geometrics and bold colours look great in your wedding décor and can be used throughout your day – from your stationery right through to your bouquet.

Glitter glamour

Wow your guests with a bit of sparkle. A pretty, metallic belt, metallic sprayed flowers and a sparkling sequin tablecloth goes a long way with this theme.

Man caves

While weddings have traditionally been very much about the bride, modern times are turning things around a little with more focus on the groom. Man caves are dedicated areas that give the groom and his friends something to do. They’ve put up with our dancing demands for years, so it’s only right we allow them some space to have their own fun. Cigar and bourbon bar coming up!

Modern cars

Opt for one of our modern beauties as opposed to our classic wedding cars. Full of style and perfect for your big-day photographs, we have a wide range of newer cars to choose from.

Here are our top picks:

For her: The Rolls Royce Phantom

This modern car oozes class and beauty, complementing the beautiful bride. It’s filled with extra special features, including lamb’s wool over mats and cream leather seats. And with plenty of space for the bride, her father and her dress, the Rolls Royce Phantom ensures an extremely enjoyable ride.

For him: The Range Rover Sport Overfinch

Stylish and special, this rare vehicle is the perfect pick for any car-mad groom. What’s more, the simple design and white colour palette of the vehicle is certain to keep your bride happy too!

For your wedding party: The white Chrysler limo

Perhaps the most chic of all the limos we have available, the white Chrysler limo is suited to the largest of bridal parties. Seating up to eight, the car looks exactly the part when dressed with our pretty bows and ribbons.

To find out more about any of our wedding cars get in touch today. Summer dates are going fast, so we recommend calling sooner, rather than later, to avoid disappointment. You can make an enquiry or booking by calling us on 0800 389 5811
