In today’s blog we’re talking Christmas parties again. Last time we gave some hints and tips on how to plan your party; today we’re talking venues.

If you want a change from your usual gathering in a hotel, why not think outside of the box with some more unusual ideas. As always, consider the budget of all your fellow employees as well as their age and personalities. Some ideas will be better suited than others.

  1. Cocktail masterclass

Cocktails are a timeless tradition in modern drinking. Everybody enjoys drinking a fair few at the Christmas party, so why not learn to make your own with the help of the professionals?

There are plenty of bars in the North West that offer cocktail masterclass parties. If you’re based in the Manchester area you might like to try The Alchemist. During the masterclass, a dedicated mixologist will show you and your colleagues how to make The Alchemist’s version of three classic cocktails: the Smokey Old Fashioned, the French Martini, and the Passion Fruit Mojito.

With cocktails being central to your celebrations you’ll want to make sure transport is sorted before the night. Why not kick off your celebrations in style with our huge 18-seater hummer limo, ideal for seating your whole team.

  1. City ball

While it’s important to spend time with your colleagues on a social level, it doesn’t mean you can’t all go out and enjoy a public event. If you’re short on time to organise, or want to do something different from the norm, why not book a batch of tickets to your city ball? This year there is an Urban Circus Ball happening at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Set to be one of the most stunning events of the year, it may well be your best Christmas do yet! What’s more, you’ll get to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, dinner, and an after party, so you’ll still get to spend plenty of time with your team.

If you’re making your way to a classy affair, why not make sure you arrive in style too, with our white Chrysler limo?

  1. Alternative restaurant

If you’re looking to enjoy a more traditional Christmas affair, why not book a table at one of Manchester’s hottest restaurants? The city has some of the UK’s most innovative and exciting restaurants including Manchester House and The French, by chef Simon Rogan.

However, if fine dining isn’t to the liking of your office, there are plenty of other interesting alternatives to try such as Solita, Burger & Lobster, Luck, Liquor Lust, or Burn.

To get you on your way, why not hire one of our 16-seater limos? We have two options available, one limo in white, the other in black.

To find out more about any of our limos, or to book a limo ahead of your Christmas party, give us a call today. You can speak to a member of our team on 0800 389 5811.
