Does the size of your limo matter?

Posted on 25th Jun, 2013 by Jackie Jolliffe

Let’s face it, the bigger the flat screen TV, the better…right? But you wouldn’t want a huge iPod that harks back to the days of carrying a boom box around on your shoulder. In that sense, no, bigger is not better.

Hiring a limo is one example when bigger is most certainly better. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the smaller limos, and I guess at the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference. But at the same time it really does depend on why you are hiring a limo.

If you are hiring a limo to add to one of your Stag Do Packages and there happens to be a few of you in the group, then obviously you need to be a bit realistic about it. No matter how much you may try, you are never going to fit 18 guys in to an 8 seater limo but… you could quite easily fit 8 guys in an 18 seater hummer limo.

image2Still bigger than your average business car but on the smaller end of the limo scale is the Lincoln Town Car.

This classic beauty seats 8 passengers, but what it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in features. The Lincoln is the epitome of effortless chic with leather seats, an open bar and CD music system. Perfect for business use or for arriving at a wedding in style.

Like the features of the Lincoln but not enough seats for the number of bums you need to cater for? Then perhaps the Hummer Limo is the one for you.

Available in several colours to suit any occasion the hummer can seat 16 of your mates and boasts leather seats, neon party lights, a bar, and a CD music system. You will certainly turn some heads in this bad boy!

But if, like me, you think bigger is always better when it comes to motors it has to be the Hummerzine.

This beast seats 18 of your nearest and dearest, it gives you extra headroom, laser light show, neons (on the inside and outside), strobe lighting, LCD screens, surround sound and a bar! I mean really?! What more could you want from a roadworthy vehicle!

Like I said before, it comes down to personal preference. All limos are pretty much the definition of style, but the bigger the limo gets, the bigger the style and luxury becomes.

As the limo size increases it moves away from a normal stretch limo to look more like a booth in a top night club.
