Planning the perfect surprise with Limo-Scene

So you want to do something special for your loved one – perhaps for New Year, their birthday or even to celebrate a proposal – but you’re stumped for ideas? Whether you’re looking for a surprise that’s romantic, fun, creative or simple and affordable, we’ve got the answer here at Limo-Scene and Wedding Cars.

When planning a perfect surprise, it’s important to sort out the details and timings well in advice of the event. Not only do surprises have to be perfect, you’ll almost certainly be working on it all on your own AND keeping it a secret – making your job ten times harder!

Consider:

How many people you want to be involved with the surprise. Are a group of you surprising a friend with a special night out or party? If so, you’ll need to ensure everyone is aware of timings and responsibilities.
Think about your budget and how this influences the surprise you’re planning.

Style your surprise limo

Once you’ve booked your transport and activities for the day, there’s still a lot more you can do to make the perfect surprise extra special. Adding little touches to the day’s transport can set the scene for an exciting day ahead. See some of our favourite styling ideas below:

Have a cluster of multicolour balloons hidden in the limo waiting to surprise your loved one. Not only are they guaranteed to add a smile to their face, they’ll also be perfect for carrying around all day long!
Hang streamers from the inside of the window creating your own party haven inside the limo.
String personalised banners inside the limo or ask your driver to add personalised bunting or ribbons to the outside of the vehicle.
Leave a ‘Top Secret’ invite in the limo, revealing just a snippet of your plans for the day ahead.
Add a bottle of bubbly and a box of cupcakes to the back seat of the limo to enjoy before the main event.

When it comes to surprises, there really are tons of ideas for every budget.

For the modest budget why not whisk your loved one or a group of friends off to a gorgeous park or countryside location for a champagne picnic. You could also arrange a fantastic night out, a slap up meal, or a spa day for two.

If you’ve got a bit more cash to spare, why not follow your limo trip with an experience day such as white water rafting, or take a trip to see his or her favourite band. A luxury night away without worrying about looking after your own transport is also another great idea!
