Venue costs… Think weekdays

Your reception venue will probably be one of your biggest costs. Consider holding your wedding on Monday – Thursday or a Sunday to save money. Venues usually charge a premium for Fridays and Saturdays so check rates for the whole of the week.

Food glorious food

A typical three course wedding breakfast can cost you around £50 a head, so why not consider other options such as a hot buffet, BBQ, hog roast; or even a delightful afternoon tea!

High street finds

Another area where you can make real savings is your wedding attire. You can find fabulous bridal dresses from Phase Eight, House of Fraser and Coast which all come in at under £300!
