Father’s Day for the cultured dad

Does your dad appreciate art, theatre and all things cultured? This week we’re channeling our inner culture vulture to recommend some great places to take dad on Father’s Day.

The Tate, in Liverpool, is always a great place to go for a dose of fine, contemporary and modern art. With fantastic exhibits to explore all year round, plus extra special exhibitions put on throughout the year, there’s also an excuse to keep coming back for more!

For a fusion of everything artsy

If a fusion of the arts is more your dad’s thing, Manchester HOME is the place to go. The brand new, multi million pound development, and the new epicentre of art and culture in Manchester, offers everything from film screenings to theatre performances and art classes – making for an action packed day!

With lots of information online, you’ll be able to plan your day before you arrive – meaning you might have just enough time to enjoy a bite or two in one of the three café bars.

For a touch of social history

Established in 1906, Manchester’s Victoria Baths is a great spot for history buffs. Beautiful, with an interesting story to tell, the Victoria Baths are simply stunning.

The Bluecoat sits in the heart of Liverpool’s city centre and celebrates talent and creativity from local artists and businesses. With visual art, literature, music and dance all part of the programme, there’s something to suit the whole family.

 Getting there

If you’re treating dad to a special day out it makes sense to start and / or finish the day in style too. Give him a break from the norm and book one of our fantastic chauffeur driven cars to add to the experience.

We’ve got plenty of cars to choose from, but here are just a few we’d recommend for the culture vulture:

  • Black Chrysler Limo. Although it may be modern, there’s lots to love about the Chrysler.
  • Rolls Royce Phantom. This beauty of a car is a real classic. With the Rolls Royce brand going back to 1903 with its production facility at Goodwood, it’s a car sought after by anyone who loves quality, style and innovation.
  • Blue Beauford Convertible. While we traditionally use this as a wedding car, the Beauford is much-loved by the older generation. With classic, quirky features, it’s the ultimate in wedding cars.

Alternatively, you can pick any other vehicle from our huge range, subject to availability.

To book your limo today, call us free on 0800 389 5811. Our advisors will be able to tell you which of our vehicles are still available on 21st June and help you to arrange the transport details for the day.
