Splashing The Cash: High Roller Nights Out In Manchester

Manchester is nationally renowned for the quality of its nightlife, and for such a small city it’s done fantastically to achieve that elusive goal: its many alleys, corners, nooks and crannies hide quirky establishments that will appeal to everyone. Once again, we’ve done the hard work for you, and picked out some of the city’s most elite nightlife destinations – helping you to craft that perfect luxury night out.

Cloud 23

One of Manchester’s most famous luxury bars, Cloud 23 hangs high above the city in the iconic Hilton building, one of Manchester’s most iconic landmarks. The bar is celebrated for its wide variety of colourful cocktails, which you can enjoy while also drinking in the city skyline. The 360-degree view of the landscape means that during daylight visits you can marvel at the rays of sunlight flowing through the building’s glass interior, while as night falls you can allow yourself to be mesmerised by the ever-crawling lights of the city traffic below. It’s an experience like no other: the quintessential spirit of Manchester at its very finest.

Milton Club

Situated in the historic Milton Mill that gave it its name, the Milton Club is right in the heart of Deansgate with other bars and clubs on all sides, so you can easily visit a few other nearby venues and segue it neatly into the final stage of your night. It’s technically a private member’s club – though membership is free – with its interior decorated in a strikingly rich blend of chocolate and amber. One of the Milton Club’s big selling points is its Limitless events; an early evening experience on Fridays and Saturdays which provide an endless flow of canapés and drinks between the hours of 8 and 10pm. Once you’ve had your fill, the RnB and house tunes from its resident DJ will keep you grooving well into the night.

Suede Nightclub

A mere stone’s throw from the Great Northern Complex, the Suede Nightclub couldn’t be more central, sitting comfortably between tram stops on Deansgate and St Peter Street, with Oxford Road train station just a few minutes’ walk in the other direction. It lives up to the spirit of its locality, too, radiating a plush inner-city vibe throughout. Its vibrant red and purple colour scheme is perfectly in keeping with the fashion-conscious youth of its clientele, and the DJ is on hand with some hip hop and house beats to keep the party going.

Manchester 235

The city’s own cherished hub of decadence, Manchester 235 is owned and operated by Caesar’s Entertainment, who run some of the leading casinos in Las Vegas. And when you walk through its doors, Manchester 235 doesn’t disappoint. A casino, bar and restaurant venue all in one, the venue is lavishly ornamented throughout, with all the dazzling lights and stunning colour that combine to create a lovingly crafted Vegas feel. Notable for its grand, sprawling architecture set over two floors, Manchester 235 is the ultimate luxury destination – the very pinnacle of city nightlife.

If you’re planning on splashing out on a classy night in one of Britain’s best cultural cities, it only stands to reason that you should travel in style too.
