Prom night is one of the highlights of your teen years. It’s the perfect opportunity to show off real personality and your true style – whatever that may be. That’s why we think that those who prefer the more alternative music scene and style shouldn’t shrug off prom night. Why not get all your friends together and do your prom your way? Want to find out how? Well luckily for you, we’ve got alternative proms covered on today’s blog.
We’ve started a Pinterest board here – have a look and let us know what you think we could add to it!
Whatever your alternative style may be we’ll have a car to match. Some of our favourites include the Landaulette, the Beauford and the silver Hummerzine, but which one will you pick?
The silver or cream Landaulette oozes classic, vintage style and is perfect for any couple hoping to achieve that steampunk or alternative look. The roof retracts, making it perfect for warm summer nights and kicking off a night to remember.
When it comes to the Beauford, you’ll be able to pick from three colours. It’s available in silver, cream and burgundy and cream and blue, meaning you can pick the perfect vehicle to match your outfit. Inside, you’ll find newly upholstered cream leather and a luxurious interior, ensuring you definitely feel the part for the exciting events ahead. With room for just the two of you, it’s the perfect choice for a couple’s first prom.
Last, but certainly not least is our 18-seater silver Hummerzine. With luxury seating, laser lights, outside neon, strobe lighting and multiple LCD screens, you’ll be able to kickstart the party with a bang. This style of limo is definitely the limo of choice for rock and metal stars and could be yours for prom night too. One of the best things about it is that it can seat 18 of you, meaning you can share the ride with your high school friends and split the costs too.
There are so many different styles to embrace if you’ve opted for an alternative look. Almost anything goes – whatever shows off your true personality. For the girls, 50’s style dresses, which go out at the waist, are really popular amongst a lot of alternative prom goers. Other great options are full-length gowns that are floaty and a little bit different – perhaps embracing non-traditional prom colours like midnight blue or red. You can’t go wrong with black either, or a bit of gothic detail. For the men, a skinny black suit is always a good look and to add another unique touch, you could also opt for a velvet blazer.
