1. Music To Get You In The Mood

You’ll already know exactly the sort of theme you’ll want for your wedding, and that includes the sort of atmosphere you want to create, and music is one of the absolute best ways to do this. Maybe you can create the perfect playlist with your soon-to-be husband or wife, or maybe the bridesmaids will already have it covered.

You might want to have something exciting to mark the occasion, or you might be more of an old-school romantic, smooching to songs by Frank Sinatra or love songs by Elvis. This is also the perfect opportunity to play ‘your song’, if you have one – after all, what better time is there than on the way to your wedding? This is probably quite an obvious one, and something you’re unlikely to be much short of anyway, but it’s still worth mentioning! Most flowers aren’t mandatory, but they’re a beautiful finishing touch for any wedding in the forms of bouquets, boutonnieres, and even garlands, depending on your theme. A bouquet for each bridesmaid can look stunning, while grooms always look particularly smart with a boutonniere or other carnation. We’ll leave it up to you!

3. Make-Up Bag and Wipes

OK, this is one of the less orthodox essentials, but bear with us a moment. A wedding day is always packed with emotion, and sometimes the first casualty of that is your makeup. An emergency make-up bag can be the answer to all these problems – after all, with a photographer flitting about to capture every moment, the very last thing you’ll want is runny makeup!

4. A Camera (Or Camera Phone)

We know we’ve just mentioned the photographer, but often he won’t be in the limo with you, and you might want to capture some special moments with your significant other for just the two of you. Your own wedding dress likely isn’t going to have many pockets available, but your groom might have a few pockets spare to stash a phone discreetly. Who knows, regardless of quality, some private photos together in the limo might be amongst the most treasured images of your special day!

5. A Bottle Of Champagne
