What is a COIF?

When hiring a limousine, you must ensure the vehicle is fully licensed. You can be sure of this with Limo-Scene.

Road fitness qualifications mean the limos you travel in are SAFE. Any road vehicle carrying eight passengers or more must have a Certificate of Initial Fitness (COIF).

Without this certificate, these long vehicles can't even be registered with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

Private buses and limousines have to be inspected by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency to get this certificate.

However, a small minority don't do this - which means they are driving passengers around in unsafe vehicles.

Every passenger could have potentially been harmed. Insurance claims cannot be made without a fully registered vehicle.

Should the car get spot checked by VOSA - it could be removed from the road and your journey terminated.

Be smart and hire a limo with a company that boasts fully registered vehicles - like Limo-Scene & Wedding Cars.

All Limo-Scene vehicles are fully licensed. Please take a look at the limo hire and wedding cars hire pages for full descriptions of the vehicles.

Limousine hire and wedding car hire from Limo-Scene is available throughout the North West, including, but not restricted to:

Wigan, Leigh, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Runcorn, Walkden, Worsley, St Helens, Macclesfield, Crewe, Blackpool, Preston, Liverpool, Skelmersdale, Cheshire.
