Your Chariot Awaits…

Posted on 25th Feb, 2013 by Jackie Jolliffe

Here are some top tips from luxury Wedding Planners to ensure your VIP limousine service is one rockin’ ride…

Whether you’re taking a limo to the church for a quiet ceremony or being driven around the lively Las Vegas on your hen or stag do, these 5 top tips will ensure your ride is a journey to remember! 😉

1. Pimp my ride

Personalise the limo as much as you can – and we’re not talking about decorating the car doors! Bring humorous pics of you and your fellow passengers, or your favourite photo of you and your hubby-to-be. Balloons and streamers look great, or add flowers for a more elegant approach.

2. Be super organised

Okay, so this one’s pretty obvious, but make sure that your limo driver has detailed instructions on exactly where he’s going, not only the destination but which route to take and any specific stops on the way. This way you can relax and concentrate on entertaining everyone!

3. Get ready for your close-up

Make sure you bring a camera. Actually, ask everyone else to bring their cameras too! This way, you get to capture the excitement from each and every angle. If you really want to go all out, hire a photographer to join you.

4. Bring your own music

Most limo hire companies will have a great selection of music to listen to but a personalised CD to set the mood is even better! If you’re on your way out, keep it lively and upbeat. Or to calm a nervous bride, try soft classical music.

5. Create at least one unforgettable moment

This one’s really more for a hen or stag do or for a big night on the tiles! Do something slightly crazy, like waving your arms around out of the sunroof or turn up at your local hangout and cause a bit of havoc – it’s always fun for bystanders to see a limo party having a good time! Oh, and make sure you get a naughty takeaway on your way home. You will have certainly built up an appetite with all the excitement!
