Official limos are cars used by governments to transport heads of state, other members of government or visiting diplomats from countries.
Owing to the high risks, the vehicles are usually highly protected. They may be armoured by manufacturer or an after-market specialist.
When public figures are on board, police or military personnel surround these limos.
The vehicle’s drivers are often law enforcement or military officials.
Domestic manufacturers often produce these limos. Some countries alternate between vehicles made by different manufactures. It is considered an honour for the company to provide this service.
